To subscribe to Duolingo Plus, tap the “Shop” tab icon on the lower right-hand corner of the main screen and select ‘Learn More’ on the Duolingo Plus banner at the top, and follow the instructions.
If you do not see Plus available in the web/app shop, please check your School settings here. If you’re actively enrolled in a classroom, Duolingo Plus will not be available. You will need to remove that class in order to purchase the subscription. If you’d like to join the class once you subscribe, please keep the classroom code handy

TL;DR: I love Duolingo. It really teaches language but I believe Duolingo Premium does not add enough benefits and prices are too high. If they were halved I would definitely consider it.
I am using Duolingo for at least 2 years but after I moved to the Netherlands I started using it regularly. I have almost 100 days streak. I really enjoy it. As a software developer and a startup guy I want to pay for it. But there is something that bothers me. Is there any “real” benefit of being premium?
Let’s see

1- Ad-Free experience
Ad’s do not interrupt my sessions. So I don’t see any real benefit here.

2- Offline lessons
I can imagine developing this feature should be a real pain. Syncing with different states in different clients etc but we are in 2018 and we are always connected. Only in the metro or in-plane, I lose my internet connection.

3- Streak repair
Nice idea to be honest, but I am a regular user, I never miss a day and I always have a streak freeze on me. So not that important.

4- Supporting the mission
That’s the only thing relevant to me. I want to support their mission but 10,99 euro per month is too much!
10.99 euro is Spotify/Netflix range. Duolingo should not be in the same range as these services, because they pay too much for their content as in licensing fees.
So I am not paying for it. I am constantly pressing the go premium button and instantly go back. It should be really annoying for the growth team. I’m reducing the premium page success rate 😅

You can cancel your subscription at anytime.
Please follow the steps below:
Google Play Store (Android):
The Google Play Store allows Android users to make payments for recurring charges or subscriptions, including Duolingo Plus. The Google Play Store charges your specified payment method automatically on the same date each month.
To cancel your Duolingo Plus subscription, login to Subscriptions and Services
. Find the subscription you would like to cancel and select “manage” and then select “cancel subscription.”
Please note that subscription cancellations cannot be undone, though you can always re-subscribe in the future. More updated information can be found on Google Payments’ own page

App Store (iOS/iPhone/iPad):
Like the Google Play Store, the App Store allows iOS users to make payments for recurring charges or subscriptions, including Duolingo Plus. The App Store charges your specified payment method automatically on the same date each month.
To cancel your Duolingo Plus subscription on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
Go to Settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store.
Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen.
Tap View Apple ID. You might need to sign in or use Touch ID.
Tap “Subscriptions” and select the subscription you would like to cancel.
Select “Cancel Subscription” and then “confirm.”
After your current period ends, App Store will no longer bill you for that subscription. Please note that subscription cancellations cannot be undone, though you can always re-subscribe in the future. More updated information about managing your iOS subscriptions are available on Apple’s website

Web:
1. Sign into your Duolingo account
 via web browser (like Chrome)
2. Click your username in the top-right corner, and choose ‘Settings’

3. Select ‘Duolingo Plus’
4. Select ‘Cancel Subscription’ and confirm
You will no longer be billed automatically once you cancel your subscription. You can reactivate your subscription anytime.
Note:
After cancelling your subscription, you will be able to use Duolingo Plus for the remaining days that you have already paid for. When your subscription expires, it will not be renewed. You can opt back in at any time. Canceling your subscription will not retroactively refund subscription payments, and previously charged subscription fees cannot be prorated based on cancellation date. Deleting the app and/or your account does not cancel your subscription, except if you originally subscribed on web. If you have any issues with your subscription, please submit a bug report
 and select the option “Purchase Issue” from the drop-down (please note that we cannot access the Google Play Store and iOS App Store, nor resolve issues you are experiencing with those services).
